St. Dunstan's has one of the most beautiful buildings in the Fraser Valley ideal not only for worship, but also for all kinds of community and cultural events. As a newer building, our architects carefully took into account the acoustics of the sanctuary for music and voice. If you would like to hold your event at St. Dunstan's, please contact Mission and Ministry Co-ordinator, Christina Ray.

Maritime Marionettes presents the favorite folktale of an aging donkey who follows his dream to become a musician. On the road to Bremen town, he befriends a dog, a cat and a rooster, who like him, are no longer needed as farm animals. Together they form a comical quartet and a bond that will last the rest of their lives.

The visuals of the show are performed with eloquent shadow puppets, exquisitely made marionettes and the Taylor's masterful manipulation. The inspiring soundtrack combines bedtime story style narration, whimsical music and side splitting animal sounds.

From the opening scene to the hilarious and touching ending, this timeless tale of friendship and enthusiasm for life will inspire and entertain the child in us all.

Maritime Marionettes was founded in 1986 with the goal of producing and touring quality marionette theater. They have produced and performed eleven new shows (ten of these were translated and performed in French), developing a magical style of performing together. Their company has traveled nationally and internationally, acquiring an international reputation for excellence in Marionette artistry.

The puppets themselves are a labor of love for Heather and Darryll Taylor. The company creates its productions from concept to finished product. This includes making and fashioning the marionette figures that feature in the shows to the sets, props and costuming of the productions. The stories come to life with the exquistely made and skillully manipulated wooden marionettes

Langley Community Chorus"So This Is Christmas"On Sunday, December 11 2011, St. Dunstan's Anglican Church and the Langley Community Chorus celebrated the holidays with beautiful music and good friends as the chorus presented "So This is Christmas," a celebration of the season. Under the inspiring direction of Music Director Anita Comba, along with the accompaniment of talented Kerry Querns, the chorus offered wonderful sounds, fully utilizing the acoustics of St. Dunstan's. Not only did the audience enjoy a thoroughly entertaining afternoon, but the concert helped to raise funds for St. Dunstan's' Garden-to-Table Ministry.

Watoto children's Choir from AfricaThe Story of FaustThe "Faust" of the original medieval German legend is an ambitious character who sells his soul to the devil in order to have all his desires fulfilled. Though centuries old, this tale still speaks to us today. How have we, like Faust, sold little bits of our souls in order to get what we want?
