Today we welcome the Reverend Tellison Glover, the Director of Mission and Ministry Development for the Diocese of New Westminster. He has come to help us celebrate our annual Feast of Dedication.
The Feast of Dedication is our opportunity to celebrate the work of God being done in the Parish of St. Dunstan. Our building was first dedicated to God on May 19th, 2013 following the burning of our mortgage. Today we remember the vision and work of our elders and recommit ourselves to ministry for tomorrow. We will do this by rededicating the Font, Lectern, and Altar as symbols of God’s presence among us. We will also renew our baptismal covenant as a commitment of our presence in the world. We are excited to dedicate our labyrinth in a service following the Eucharist.
We thank God for everyone here who continues to listen for God’s words of Love and responds to the world with faith, hope and love.
All are welcome to receive bread and wine (or juice) at communion. Gluten-free wafers are available for those with sensitivities.
