As we prepare for our Annual General Vestry Meeting on Sunday, February 17th, we are focusing on a few of our ministries at the Parish. This week we will hear briefly from people involved in our Thursday Meal program. This program ensures that some of the most vulnerable in our neighbourhood have a delicious, healthy home-cooked meal.
At the Parish we want everything we do to be done out of love. It is the “more excellent way” described in Paul’s First Letter to the Corinthians. As we use our gifts of time, energy, money and uniqueness in this place we do it with patience, kindness, humility, joy, faith, hope and endurance. This “more excellent way” of living is not easy, but we do not give up because we believe that love never ends.
