This summer we will follow the readings from Luke which begin with Jesus setting his face toward Jerusalem. We know what happens in Jerusalem – Jesus will face the cross.

We will wonder what it looks like to follow Jesus on the way to Jerusalem and how the inevitability of the cross shapes our lives and actions. We will ask two basic questions to the stories in Luke.

1.        What is Jesus saying, and how might we listen?

2.        What is Jesus doing, and how might we imitate him?

We are always called to listen to Jesus, but there is a greater mystery to consider: How might we become like Christ. For in doing so we become Christian.

This is a service of Holy Communion.  All are welcome.
