This Lent we will face difficult topics that are common to all human beings. Today we stand next to the Prodigal Son’s brother and wonder why life isn’t fair.

It is difficult to see other people succeeding with apparently minimal effort, while we work endlessly and tirelessly with little or no benefit.

This leads to resentment.

It is bewildering to see other people get what we know they don’t deserve.

This leads to resentment.

Life isn’t fair. The wicked prosper and the faithful suffer. And God is Father of us all. Can we find satisfaction, peace and acceptance in this?

Please take time with the prayer stations this Sunday.

This is a service of Holy Communion.  All are welcome.
