I started making prayer cards about 20 years ago. I used to buy them in cathedral bookshops across Europe, but eventually realized I could create my own—ones that didn’t have to be a traditional saint picture with a generic prayer on the back. Instead, they could feature images that meant something to me, paired with quotes or words that I found meaningful.

In this session, we’ll be creating our own prayer cards—or inspiration cards, if you prefer. I’ll bring a laminator and a variety of card sizes, from wallet-sized to slightly larger bookmark-style cards.

We’ll start by making a small collage, and then we’ll laminate it. You can use images, quotes, words, or anything that helps you focus on what matters to you right now—even something as simple as “be kind.” I’ll have coloured pencils, crayons, and magazines available, and you’re welcome to bring your own materials as well.

Cost - $20
