When words feel too heavy—or not quite enough—turn to mixed-media art journaling and quiet contemplation. This creative practice offers space to honour your emotions and to listen for the Divine within. Each session includes a short meditation, a simple art technique demonstration, and unhurried time to create through layering and hands-on exploration. No art experience is needed. Bring any favourite supplies if you wish; everything you need will be provided.

This is a series that will start on Saturday, January 10 @1 - 4pm, and continue on 4 Wednesdays, January 14/21/28/February 4, @ 6 - 8pm.

Facilitated by - Doris Froese

Doris Froese arrived at St. Dunstan’s by way of the outdoor labyrinth and has since joined Friday morning Centering Prayer, Lectio Divina & Contemplative Eucharist. Lover of quiet and inspired to see beauty among us, mixed media art journalling has been a profound awaking of the soul for Doris. Forever grateful that God pursues in intimate and specific ways.

At the Centre for Spiritual Renewal, we believe that finances should never be a barrier to participation. We welcome everyone on the spiritual journey and want you to feel included and supported. When registering, if cost is a concern, we offer scholarships. Just reach out to us at spiritualrenewal@st-dunstans.ca
