Join us as we care for God's creation.

Come out and spend an hour after church on June 9 cleaning-up a local waterway.

Rivers, lakes, streams, storm drains and beaches are all connected. Litter can have devastating consequences for wildlife. Animals mistake litter for food or become entangled in rope, string and nets. Litter can transport invasive species, or introduce dangerous toxins into an ecosystem. Plastic litter can degrade into tiny invisible pieces called microplastics, that are impossible to pick up, but have dramatic impacts on wildlife. Together we can be a small part of the solution to a big problem. Wear casual clothes, and if you have them bring gloves and long handled tongs or “trash pickers.”
