the Second Sunday of Easter

This Sunday we begin our study of John's First Letter (1:1-2:2). It is a wonderful little letter in our New Testament with important themes for Followers of Jesus to consider. Here are a few to wonder about in preparation for Sunday.

If you could say anything to your neighbours or the wider world as a Follower of Jesus, what would you say? I wonder what your message would be.

I wonder what being in community means to you.

If you could describe what a Follower of Jesus does, what would you say? I wonder how a Follower of Jesus lives?

Evening of Sung Prayer

Sunday, April 15th at 7:30pm. The theme is a Spirit of Reconciliation. This is the final Evening of Sung Prayer this season. We will begin again in the Fall. 

Messy Church

Friday, April 20th at 4:30pm. Come for a story, crafts, games and dinner at this all-age worship gathering. 

Diocesan Mission Conference

Saturday, May 26th from 8am to 4pm. The Diocese of New Westminster is presenting a conference to inspire and energize us as Followers of Jesus. For more inforation about this conference please click here. Registration is encouraged.

Funraiser and Silent Auction

Saturday, May 26th at 6pm. This is our major fundraising event of the year. It promises to be a lot of fun! $50 for a full dinner, silent auction and show featuring the True North Troubadours (A Peter, Paul & Mary tribute band).
