Rt. Rev. Sarah Mullally appointed next Archbishop of Canterbury

Congratulations to the appointment of Rt. Rev’d Sarah Mullally as the next Archbishop of Canterbury!  Currently the Bishop of London, Bishop Sarah will be the first woman to hold the office since Saint Augustine arrived in Kent from Rome in 597.  She will become senior bishop and principal leader of the Church of England as well as the ceremonial head of the worldwide Anglican Communion when she get installed officially in March 2026.
