Our sister parish, St. George's, Fort Langley, is inviting the people from St. Dunstan's to participate in these upcoming Indigenous Solidarity events to learn and live out our commitment to Truth and Reconciliation:

Started in 2016 by a small group of churches in Langley to promote healing from the harm done by colonization and residential schools, this annual walk have been inviting people to walk on the last weekend in May every year since the Truth and Reconciliation Commission released its final report in 2015.

Clarence, our rector is inviting parishioners to join him on one of the Group Walks on Sunday, June 1 at 1 pm from Fraser River Heritage Park to Pekw’Xe:yles Reserve (former St. Mary’s Residential School).  Sonny McHalsie, Sto:lo Historian will led the walk and shared the history of St. Mary's Indian Residential School.
