Children's Ministry Volunteer
A few weeks ago, it was suggested to the congregation that members volunteer to support our children during our Worship Service. Since then, we have only had one person step up for this (many thanks, Lesley!).
In a few weeks, we will be posting a sign up sheet for members to take the children out during the service to read bible stories, play in the hall, do crafts, or whatever moves you! We will have books and some easy kits available for use so it will be easy to step in and help. In the New Year, Clarence will be moving the Children's Time to just after the Gospel reading and the children will then go out at that time. We are hoping to have at least 2 weeks of volunteers per month - you may choose to do this in pairs or on your own.
In order to support our children, all volunteers will be required to have a Criminal Record Check done. This will be done through the office and will be a seamless process.
We are asking for anyone who may wish to support our children in this program in the future, to please contact the office and leave your name. The Criminal Record Check process will begin once we have our volunteer pool set up. Our hope is to have a program ready for the new year so please let us know as soon as possible, as the Criminal Record Check process will take a couple of weeks.
