Mothering Sunday is a day honouring mother churches, the church where one is baptised and becomes "a child of the church".  It has been observed on the fourth Sunday in Lent since the Middle Ages in the UK, Ireland, and may parts of the British Commonwealth.

Sherry, our Parish Administrator is off until April 6. Interim office hours are 9:30 am - 12:30 pm on Wednesday & Friday only.  Contact the Rector for office related needs while Sherry is away.

A monthly, in-person, contemplative gathering at the Parish of St. Dunstan’s.  This community meets the second Saturday morning of each month from 9:30am to noon.  Suitable for experienced practitioners and those curious to explore the contemplative side of spiritual practices.  The morning will be lightly guided with a focus on practice time in community.  Our hope is to establish an ongoing community of spiritual companions. 

This is a no-fee event but registration is requested.

This winter, The Centre for Spiritual Renewal gently expanded its spiritual palette by introducing creative journalling into its Wednesday evening offerings. What began as a simple invitation soon became something more — a quiet response to a deeper longing.

Lenten “Soul Boats” Project: Inspired by the Soul Boats installation at Birmingham Cathedral in 2015-2016, the Liturgical Arts Team is inviting you to help create an aerial sculpture made up of soul boats to be unveiled on Easter Sunday.

Beginning this Sunday, St. Dunstan's will feature one of Erica Grimm's "Our Father" series 4 colour etchings each week in our sanctuary.  The whole series is a meditation on the Lord's Prayer inspired by the ministry of Karol Wojtyla, Pope John Paul II. Together they represent a plea for peace between nations, and within human hearts. Each print images the contradictions between the ways of peace and the ways of war. From the artist, "My prayer was, and is, that the global collective commons would choose ‘breaking of bread’’ and ‘beating swords into plowshares’ over war.

A grounds maintenance day is planned for Saturday, March 28 starting at 9 am. A hot dog lunch will be served at 12pm. 

Please bring a rake and/or shovel.

All are welcome so bring your family and friends.

Come early on Palm Sunday (March 29) and help fold Palm Crosses for Palm Sunday Procession. Tables will be set up in the Hall at 9:15 am. Check the video instructions below on how to fold your own palm cross(es).

A service of evening prayers forming part of the Divine Office, traditionally said before retiring for the night. Compline typically lasts about 15 minutes.

Contemplative Eucharist: Celebrating the Lord's Supper in an intimate and reflective setting with simple chants and space to pray in silence. 

Self-guided Labyrinth Walk: The beautiful grass-path labyrinth, located on the front of the property next to 264th Street, is open for self-guided walk before Centering Prayer and after Contemplative Eucharist.  It is open 24/7 for people who want to use it at other times.
