Light-scented Fresh Cut Flowers needed for Easter Flower Cross: From the Altar Guild: We do not have the daffodils coming that we had in past years and really would like some fresh cut flowers. Bring some for yourselve and others if you have enough blossoms to spare in your gardens.  

Easter Offering Envelopes can be found at the back of the chair.  Consider making a special Easter Offering this season using the evelope or online to support the growing cost of ministry of St. Dunstan's.

Come this Sunday for the unveiling of the Soul Boat Aerial Scuplture. Inspired by the Soul Boats installation at Birmingham Cathedral in 2015-2016, the Liturgical Arts Team invited parishioners this Lent to offer their prayers intentions for themselves and the world on a foldable boat template with the image of the church’s stained glass window.  Some 120 boats has been put together to create this  aerial sculpture that you may see & experience this Sunday. 

Hands Up and Hats Off to the amazing crew that restored the Meditation Labyrinth.: Doug, Marty, Jeremy, Peter, Annette, Robert, Darlene, Colin, Dave and Clarence.  They all became jig-saw puzzle experts after this massive outdoor puzzle fitting horizonal sods onto a curvy sacred path.  There will be a RE-DEDICATION of the Labyrinth on Easter Sunday following the 10 am service (if weather permits).

St. Dunstan's welcomes the Aldergrove Food Bank to begin its weekly pop-up food distribution beginning this coming Tuesday, April 7.  Our parish is supporting our local food bank in this important ministry until they find a new home.

Grounds Maintenance Day has been RESCHEDULED TO Saturday, April 18 from at 9 am to 2 pm. A hot dog lunch will be served at 12pm. Please bring a rake and/or shovel. Book Studay: Read the Bible Like a Mystic.  The last session will be on April 12 from noon to 1 pm.

A service of evening prayers forming part of the Divine Office, traditionally said before retiring for the night. Compline typically lasts about 15 minutes.

Centering Prayer: This simple practice is twenty minutes of silence using the pattern of Centering Prayer taught by Thomas Keating and Cynthia Bourgeault.

Lectio Divina:  Following a time of centering, enter into a slow and meditative reading of scripture.

Contemplative Eucharist: Celebrating the Lord's Supper in an intimate and reflective setting with simple chants and space to pray in silence. 

Self-guided Labyrinth Walk: A labyrinth is a tool for prayer whereby a person follows a path in prayerful silence to a centre. 

As a follow-up to our first offering of mixed-media art journalling and quiet contemplation, we will be offering four additional weeks for those who wish to continue working in their current art journals. Each gathering will include a short meditation, a simple technique demonstration, and unhurried time to create.

Please bring your own art journal and supplies.

Chronic pain disrupts every aspect of a person’s life. We often focus on the physical, in hopes that a cure may be found. In the meantime, we become limited in the things that give us joy. Our time together is an opportunity to explore the cost of chronic pain, to sit with our grief over losses, and to be with each other. We’re not looking for cures, only the miracle to carry on. This group welcomes pain bearers, care givers and hope searchers.
