Becoming The Answer

An afternoon of poetry, reflection, conversation, and sharing on “Becoming the Answer” to the global climate crisis.  What changes are needed to shift from “being the problem” to “becoming the answer” that goes beyond “knowing the facts”?  Expect a stimulating, engaging, thoughtful, provocative time.

Emilie will be speaking about her four month pilgrimage to last years’ UN climate conference, COP30 in Belem, Brazil, her Epic Poem: Leaf on Drum River, which she presented in the Colombia pavilion at COP30, and her participation at the first international conference for the transition away from fossil fuels in Santa Marta, Colombia in April.  She was one of four women from the inter-faith sector selected to attend the high level inter-governmental negotiations.
